IAPPC Membership

IAPCC only accepts institutional members that are recognized and in good standing in their own country or region, and that conduct their educational operations in accordance with the IAPCC Codes of Ethics (PDF). IAPCC reserves the right to expel from its membership (without any refund of membership fees) institutions that do not meet this criteria.

Institutions that already are members of:

  • University Continuing Education Association (UCEA),

  • Career College Association (CCA) USA,

  • National Association of Career Colleges (NACC), Canada,

  • New Zealand Association of Private Education Providers (NZAPEP),

  • Association of Private Schools and Colleges Singapore (APSC),

  • Private Providers of Education, Training and Development (APPETD) South Africa, or

  • Australian Council of Private Education & Training (ACPET)

may join IAPCC at a reduced membership rate.

 

There are four types of membership in IAPCC:

  • Educational Institutions (Full Membership);

  • Educational Authorities and Agencies (Observer);

  • Corporations (Associate Member);

  • Individuals (Associate Membership).

The benefits of holding IAPCC membership include:

  • Becoming part of an career education industry association on an international level;

  • Opportunities for networking with people and institutions working in your industry;

  • Use of IAPCC Logo on your website, prospectus and other materials. Any member of the Association may use, as long as the member is in good standing, the official seal of the Association as a public identification of membership and commitment to the purposes, requirements, and standards of the Association;

  • Promotion of your courses globally via IAPCC at various career shows, fairs and the IAPCC website;

  • Discounted training on a variety of career courses and corporate training sessions;

  • International Accreditation and Quality Certification. As a member of IAPCC your organization becomes eligible to voluntarily apply for and participate in IAPCC’s International Accreditation and Quality Certification scheme (Click to learn more).

  • A forum through which members may exchange of resources and joint ventures opportunities;

  • Independent complaints procedure and arbitration service;

  • Exchange of credits and advanced standing students for students within the IAPCC education system;

Dues

Annual Dues as of 2009 (payable at the time of application) were established at $650 per annum for Regular Members and $350 per annum for Associate and Observer Members. No joining fees are applicable for any type of membership.

Institutions which are members of the above mentioned organizations receive a 25% reduction in annual dues.

Applications from nations classified as developing countries by the United Nations receive 50% off annual dues.
